Print-Ready Book Design

Now that you've chosen the package that suits your needs,

let's talk about the design!

You're gonna have to fill the Custom Book Cover Form* to let me know what kind of design you want, include as much details as possible so I get a clear idea of the cover you're aiming for.

 

Example:

• How many characters do you want on the cover?

• What background do you want?

• Is there any special details I should add to the character/scene?

• Do you want a specific font? (Fees may apply)

​You already have an image* that you wanna use or a moodboard to guide me?

 

Mention it in the last field of the form.

 

*When you provide me an image that you own, make sure it's a good file format (ideally .Tiff, .RAW and .PNG) and that it has a High Resolution format too (the bigger, the better!). And MOST IMPORTANTLY, make sure that it come from a professional stock images website (Royalty-free with the license), because the last thing you want for your future Best-Seller is a lawsuit for copyrights infringement!

You don't have your image(s) but you want to choose it/them?

​

You can go on Depositphotos* once you have it/them, include the link(s) in the form.

​

*Depositphotos has 2 kind of licenses:

​

• The Standard license: Less than 500.000 books produced and printed.

• The Extended license: More than 500.000 books produced and printed. 

 

You also need the Extended License for the commercial use (promotional distribution and merchandise for sale).

​The fonts!

​

If you have a font you'd like me to use, mention it in the last section of the form. In the case you dont have one but you'd like to shop for one, you can search on Dafont or Font Squirrel. In both cases you have to make sure it's a font that can be used for commercial purpose.

​Once I have all the images and informations gathered and the 50% deposit transferred, I can start the Design.

​

I'll send you a preview of the cover (a basic design without any effects) at first and once it's approved i'll turn it into your finished piece.

Then I'll send you a watermarked .PNG or .JPG version of the cover to review.

​

With the Print-Ready Book Design Package you have 5 sets of revision included, that mean that once I'll send you the revisions, you'll be able to send me 5 emails in total with all the corrections you want me to make.

Finally when I'll have finished the corrections on the artwork, and it'll has been approved, I'll send you a unwatermarked version of your cover in the format that you'll choose (.JPG or .PNG) after I received the balance of the payment.
